Grit Removal System

Grit and other solid materials are unwanted component found in both process water and wastewater. Grit mainly constituent of sand, silt and grit from the medium. Grit (and sand) removal are located in the headworks of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP).

Grit need to be removed to prevent reduction in process capacity and increasing O&M costs.
